Day 1
We arrive in Lviv, the cultural capital of Ukraine. While exploring the city on foot, we will have a chance to experience its rich versatility of architectural styles embodied in the historical churches and houses. Bewildering variety and mixture of architectural styles embodied in every single building will open up to you after the walk in the city. You will visit the Armenian and the Jewish quarters and the famous Opera House… Free time. In the evening, the city’s cafes tour is recommended.
Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel – excursion in the Museum under the open sky, which shows Ukrainian villages of the 17th-18th c. The working exhibition and the funds comprise about 20 thousand objects of everyday use and works of folk art. On this day, we will also visit the Lychakiv Cemetery, one of the largest in Europe. Transfer from Lviv to Halych, the former center of Galicia-Volyn principality – the most powerful stronghold in the ancient south-western lands. The town of Halych, presently located in Western Ukraine, gave name to the whole region of Halych. You will also visit the ruins of the castle in Halych. Arrive in Kolomyia. Check-in. Free time.
Day 3
After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, you will visit the Easter Egg museum. The art of Easter egg painting has been a genuine Ukrainian tradition for hundreds of years. The Hutsul people have achieved unprecedented artistic heights in this craft. In a few minutes we are in Ivano-Frankivsk. During the tour, you will visit Ivano-Frankivsk city hall – the only secular building in Ukraine, which has a gilded dome. The next point on the list is the village Iza. It is famous for its vine products made of vines that are exported over Europe. Near the village, there is the spotted deer farm. The farm is an important supplier of medical materials such as pantokrina, which is made of the animals’ horns. Then – a transfer to Khust. Check-in at the hotel. Free time.
