Arrival to Ceske Budejovice. Here you take a tour of historic city center. The spacious marketplace is named after the city’s founder Premysl Ottokar II. The mighty Samson’s Fountain is in the center of the square and forms a splendid ensemble with its pretty town houses and arcades.

Today you get to know picturesquely situated near Vltava loop town Cesky Krumlov. After the tour of narrow and winding streets you climb up to the castle, perching high above the cityscape. Noteworthy are the picture gallery, the magnificently painted Mask Hall, the Vitrine Hall, large and small chapels. Over the multi-storey cloak bridge you reach the castle garden with Folly Bellaria, cascade fountain, water gods and nymphs. In the afternoon you drive along the huge Lipno Dam to Vyssi Brod and on our way we visit the the Cistercian monastery complex. We the Crypt of the Rosenbergs, the cloister and the library holding a collection of 70,000 volumes, some of them are very precious. We take the romantic route along the Vltava River, pass the Rosenberg Castle, the ancestral seat of the Rosenbergs, who ruled southern Bohemia from the 14th to the 16th century, and return to Ceske Budejovice.

Drive via Trebon – Jindrichuv Hradec to the “white” city Telc. The original 13th-century water stronghold was rebuilt in the 16th century and has preserved its renaissance form in a unique way. Passing the long market square with its picturesque gabled houses and arcades, you see the Jesuit Church and St. Jacob’s Church and visit the castle. The beautiful Renaissance building houses collections of paintings, weapons and hunting souvenirs and is surrounded by a well-kept Renaissance garden. Via Trebic you drive to the Moravian metropolis Brno.

On a tour of the historic city center, you see the Old Town Hall, Vegetable Market, Capuchin Crypt and Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul. South of Brno is one of Europe’s largest landscaped parks, a masterpiece of garden architecture. In the middle of the 13th century, the people of Liechtenstein acquired the first lands around Lednice, cultivated far away land on the River Thaya and created unique ensembles of large and small buildings, which resemble pearls in the vast mosaic of river, canals and parks. Particularly worth seeing are baroque residences in Valtice and the neo-gothic Lednice Chateau with its pointed arches and battlements. The castle park is transformed into the open landscape and is therefore today called “Garden of Europe” or “Paradise garden”.

After breakfast you drive to Prague, diverse and vibrant city with more than 1000 years of history and incomparable medieval buildings. On a walk through the Old Town, you go past the Jewish Quarter on Parisian Street with its beautiful Art Nouveau buildings to the Old Town Square. Here you can see the town hall with astronomical clock, the gothic Church of Our Lady before Týn and the baroque St. Nicholas Church and then stroll through enchanting winding streets along the Royal Route to Charles Bridge.

Today you get to know Gothic Prague: Hradcany Square with St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Royal Palace with Vladislav Hall, St. George‘s Basilica, Golden Lane and Dalibor Tower (Daliborka). After so much history embedded in stone, the green areas around the castle offer a welcome change. The Royal Gardens with ballroom, orangery and the Belvedere extend to the north and from the gardens to the south opens a wonderful panorama of Old and New Town, Lesser Town and the lifeline of the Golden City, the Vltava. Special attention should be paid to the Wallenstein garden with Sala Terrena, an artificial stalactite cave, Venus bronze statue and the gallery of bronze sculptures by Adrian de Vries. The day ends with a stroll through Baroque Prague on the Lesser Town.

After having breakfast in the hotel you will still have a couple of hours to check the souvenirs or simply to wander along the ancient streets without haste. You are sure to leave the place with unforgettable impressions, as well as the feeling of having experienced something special.
