Day 1
The oldest Christian country in the world – Armenia – cordially invites you for an extraordinary journey between East and West! You will be welcomed by Armenians with Areni Wine and from that moment this wonderful, religious country that is full of traditions will stay in your heart forever.
Late in the evening, your plane lands at the airport in Yerevan. After the usual formalities, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide, who will accompany you during the whole your trip.
Day 2
Today you get acquainted with the Armenian capital. What makes this city interesting is that the inner city of Yervan was created in the likeness of the drawing board, houses resemble the old buildings and actually there is no city center in the direct sense of the word.
The next point of our program is Tsitsernakaberd – the Armenian Memorial to the victims of the Armenian genocide of 1915. Finally, we drive to Echmiadzin to the residence of Catholicos of all Armenian, the spiritual leader of Armenia’s national church. Here, you will also see the ruins of the city of Zvartnots.
